Arizona fake voter Kelly Ward ranked fifth in January 6 committee statement

A lawyer for the House Select Committee investigating the January 1, 2021 attack on the US Capitol said on Tuesday that

that Kelly Ward, president of the Republican Party of Arizona, who posed as a fake voter for the former

President Donald Trump declined to answer "basic" questions when he testified before the panel.

"He refused to answer every important question and claimed his rights under the Fifth Amendment,"

Attorney Eric Columbus told a judge at a hearing about Ward's efforts to block the committee from accessing his phone records from November 3, 2020 to January 20, 2021,

Ward was one of six people summoned by a January 6 panel in mid-February for being involved in fake voters.
